Building staff and doormen are excellent.A number of prolonged outages of the elevator have been frustrating. The communication around these issues could be improved.

The daily lack of heat during the hours of 6 pm and 6 am when the outside temperature is below 52 degrees is unfathomable. While the heat comes on every morning at/around 6 am, during the evening hours, I constantly have to call downstairs to the doorman that the heat is not on. They call whoever they are supposed to call, but to no avail.

The elevator was down for 3 weeks and the service elevator was down for some periods during that time. For a family with two babies like ours this is unacceptable. In addition to that, it did not feel like additional staff was brought in to help when porters were needed to operate the manual service elevator, which made things even worse. This is very poor building management and lack of building maintenance.
