We have had a roach infestation for several years which Rudin management has been unable to remedy. They are unresponsive and unprofessional. They are unreasonable at every turn.

I had two issues that needed to dealt with, my dishwasher was fixed but the hot water in my bathroom was not fixed. I’m away for a few months so when my housekeeper comes in every week she can’t run hot water in the tub and there is a terrible odor that results when the hot water can’t be run

We have a real issue with our neighbor in 2B and their dog. Aside from the occasional vomit or pee their dog spews either on the 2nd floor hallway or in the stairwell, the day-to-day hair that is left outside our door has never properly been dealt with. While the maintenance crew tries their best to vacuum outside our door once a day, this is clearly not enough as the dog is extremely poorly groomed and drops enormous amounts of hair throughout the day in front of our door as it goes for its multiple walks. My six year old daughter and I are EXTREMELY allergic to this dog's hair and we have had to deal with asthmatic and other allergy conditions (eye itching, etc.) from this lack of proper grooming and cleaning. We have been extremely patient trying to work with Rudin Management to deal with this problem and we are very unhappy with management on this issue. A letter has been sent to Carlos in Rudin Management on this matter, and we never seem to get a response that translates into any meaningful action or care for our health. Rudin Management needs to step in at this point and either insist that the tenant in 2B gives the dog away or takes some responsibility to ensure that these daily drops of dog hair are never in front of my door. Please pass this along to Rudin Management. thank you.

the issue with the washer was not resolved. it is still spewing out thick black soot and ruining our clothing… we cannot remove the stains it caused. we believe the contents to be coming from inside the machine and may need to be taken apart to be fixed, or may need to be replaced completely. the door to the dryer is now not working as well - it is loose and not clicking in closed all the way so it is popping open while the dryer is running and therefore pauses the dryer when the door pops open. please fix or replace both the washer and dryer machine immediately.

This has been a recurring issue with the dog in apartment 2B. The tenant takes the dog up and down the stairs at least twice if not three times a day and as a result the stairway is left with globs of dog hair because the tenant does NOT groom the dog. we have also seen and complained about dog pee as well as dog vomit most recently. As a tenant paying $11,100 a month, particularly someone who is deathly allergic to dog hair of this kind, I should not be subjected to this repeated offense multiple times each day. If the tenant cannot groom the dog properly, and cannot clean up after the dog (e.g., the pee and vomit was just left there by the tenant in 2B), it is unfair to me as a paying tenant as well as the maintenance crew who has to clean this up multiple times a day. This complaint therefore is more directed towards Rudin Management for not solving the problem at its source (i.e., insisting the tenant maintains a neighborly clean environment, or get rid of the dog completely). The maintenance crew therefore is trying its best but they have an impossible job constantly cleaning up after this dog.
