Resident Move-In FeedbackOverall, my move-in experience has been deeply disappointing due to both the condition of the suite and ongoing management issues. The underground 576 Front Street car park is also not very accessible for smaller moving vans.Suite Cleanliness & Condition:Upon receiving the keys, the apartment was not move-in ready. The shower drains were completely clogged with the previous tenant's hair. Furthermore, the blinds in the bedroom are visibly stained and do not meet the standard of a professional rental turnover.Building Management & Safety:The most significant issue has been the conduct of the resident in Unit 637. Since my first week, I have dealt with aggressive shouting and banging at all hours (specifically late night/early morning). Despite providing video evidence and reporting in person to the concierge, the response has been inadequate. The only help I have received is the night concierge who is a lovely gentleman who was proactive in dealing with the late night disturbances. Whoever replies to my emails with complaints and evidence of this resident, will take no accountability or leadership.Suggestions for Improvement:Accountability: I was told by site staff that the landlord has "limited authority" over tenant behaviour. This is a concerning misinterpretation of the Residential Tenancies Act, which mandates that the landlord protect a tenant’s right to reasonable enjoyment.Concierge Training: On multiple occasions, the day time concierge failed to follow up or witness reported noise in real-time despite me reporting it at the desk while it was occurring.Turnover Standards: Ensure suites are professionally cleaned and inspected (including drains and window coverings) before keys are handed over.I expected a much higher standard from a Minto property. I hope this feedback triggers a more serious look into the management of Unit 637 and the cleanliness protocols at this building.

Management is very unhelpful with tenant issues. They don't follow up with contractors nor advocate for the tenant's quality of living. Bare minimum effort + don't get to the bottom of ongoing issues unless continuously pressed to do so. There's no accountability on the side of the building. They also do not offer any temporary solutions to ongoing problems and leave the tenant with the burden of finding solutions for building issues they're not responsible for. Very poor comilmunication skills.

The floor is not very clean. Would appreciate if the clean-up be more robust.

I’m unlikely to renew my lease because I want to live in a different area, but my plan is to actually ask Minto about renting from them in a different building because I love so much their management and renting from them has been a great experience I’d love to continue renting with Minto just in a different area of Toronto. I’ve already renewed my lease in this unit twice for 3 full years total.

My bathroom fan is not working and I am baffled that the issue is still not resolved. There is no ETA. I can't imagine why it would take so long and why there is no urgency given that its a heath ad safety item. Not to mention that it can cause mold and no way for air to be refreshed.
