12J has a doormat outside their door.Is that allowed, or not? Should’t it be inside the apartment?

Everyone is so kind and always so responsive if there is ever an issue. Love this place!!!!

After reporting the major leak yesterday morning we were suprised not to hear from anyone about what would happen.

I can still smell cigarettes in the corridor. I received a complaint against me that’s it coming from my apartment earlier but I have requested the doormen to check since and they confirmed to me they will let the authorities know that there is a smell in the corridor but it’s not coming from my apartment. I do not know if the actual apartment has been identified yet, but I feel deeply anxious from the lack of communication

I have lived here 13 years. The building is run amazingly well. Always kept very clean. If you have a problem someone is there right away.Joseph the doorman is amazing.

, I am very happy to be living at 40 Park, I am made to feel like family by the staff. Whenever I have an issue it is addressed almost immediately. I am a senior (85), have lived in the building 7 years, hope to live here permanently!An evening overnight porter would be helpful in the case of an emergency and a chair for the doorman, other than that no issues. It would be wonderful if on occasion, the building would wash the exterior windows. Unlike my last Rudin building (2 5th for 25 years) my windows could pop in and I could clean myself. Also, I understand that the heat only kicks in if below 50 degrees, yet even at 51 or so I would like heat. Further, my heating units frequently do not go on EVEN when in the 30s. (I reported the latter via a maintenance ticket).
