The overall maintenance and cleaning standards in the building have fallen short for some time. The lobby and common areas are not cleaned with regularity. It often feels like floors are just swiped occasionally rather than cleaned on a set schedule. When dust or dirt accumulates, we’re asked to raise a ticket to Xiomara instead of having a consistent weekly cleaning routine. The response that “cleaning comes when needed” isn’t really acceptable when the result is visible buildup in shared areas.Trash collection is another recurring issue. Overflowing bins and uncollected trash in front of the building have become common. I’ve taken several photos over the past weeks showing trash piling up, not once, but repeatedly. It gives a poor impression of the building and attracts pests. As for maintenance requests, there’s a lack of coordination and follow-up. Workers often show up unannounced, seemingly surprised when no one is home to receive them. There’s no scheduling window or confirmation beforehand. On top of that, repairs remain unresolved for months. For example, I requested a simple toilet seat replacement on September 1st, and as of November 3rd, it’s still pending with no update.Overall, the team would benefit from a clear cleaning schedule, better communication before visits, and actual follow-through on open tickets.
