I just had my wife's Acura diagnosed as needing a transmission. I read that it is a problem in this car but considering the quote was $3600 I thought it was well worth a second opinion. They didn't charge to initially look at it and drove it until they felt the issue. They ended up fixing the car by only changing the torque converter and a sensor. Saved me a ton!!! I guess that's why I needed a transmission specialist rather than just a regular mechanic. Thanks to Jeff at AAMCO in Anaheim
