JJ was very honest and excellent to work with, I honestly always am weary of mechanic shops in general but JJ / Aamco showed themselves to be very honest. I needed lots of repairs but they only recommended what was needed and did not overcharge me. I cant say enough good things about them. Very honest.

Came into AAMCO wanting to change my transmission, but after about 30 mins of troubleshooting told me it was an electricle problem, saving lots of time and $$$$

AAMCO on Miramar rd in San Diego, Can was the best experience I have had with any car maintenance shop. JJ was very helpful and new what the problem was right away.other shops in San Diego would charge for service on the wrong thing and did not fix the problem.I was able to have my car fixed, and I will definetly bring my cars in the future

After a long road of problems, brought my cast into JJ due to a check engine light. He was able to not only fix the problem quickly but to opput me at ease. Its that kind of honesty and integrity that counts. This is where you want to bring your car!

I came into Aamco since it had excellent reviews on yelp. Saw the shop was BBB accredited so it naturally appeared as an honest business. Jay Jay the owner helped out with my check engine light and check fluids. Everything was going well then my engine died. I reacted furiously and had the preconceived notion they did something wrong to my car. I felt uneasy about the situation. So after some discussion with the owner, he was able to diagnose the problem efficiently. He truly means well and is genuine towards his customers. I was too quick to categorize his business into the "sleezy auto service" group. He provided all valuable and truthful information that I will be coming back to his shop. Thank you to Jay Jay for his genuine nature and ability to diagnose and fix problems
