It was easy access and clean, but due to the rate increase I was not able to afford it.

Customer service… Roy was great with us.Cost increases were a bit much but appreciated how close it was to access.

The location is convenient and the staff were personable. The rates for Acorn fluctuate and are too high after the first month and do not offer any prepayment lock rate programs. The constant rate increases were ridiculous .On moving out day, we were almost done and a large mouse had made its home in my Stearns and Foster Pillow Top Queen Mattress. I had it wrapped properly in moving weight plastic. Upon going back to the office, I told the assistant mgr. and asked what to do. He said he would trash the mattress and just leave it in the unit. I asked him how to file a claim with the insurance company since I suffered damages. He said rodent and bug damage were not covered. I insisted on getting the insurance company’s name & contact info. I never had this type of experience and would not ever do business with Acorn again. Replacement costs to buy the type of mattress I had is over $3000. I received no apology, no nothing - Oh well, he didn’t care. What a terrible company-gladly take your $309 every month and in return you get your expensive belongings with mice feces and urine and who knows what parasites and/or disease.

Location and cost are big factors in the rating I gave; however, even more important are the staff members at CubeSmart on Connecticut Ave. They are 100% reliable, 100% available when needed during working hours, and always willing to help out with questions or concerns about the storage units. I made a good choice when I chose this CubeSmart facility!

CubeSmart on Connecticut Avenue is by far the most satisfactory storage experience I have ever had in my 10+ years of having storage units. Staff is friendly, helpful, and professional, costs are reasonable, and location is exceptional. Thank you for being there for us!
