Should have been told upfront that cashiers checks were required to move in.I put down a deposit. Too many other red flags too. Not able to get a hold of the Regional Manager despite leaving messages and no way to contact corporate. This company does not care about its tenants and now I see why there are many empty units. I am willing to lose my deposit as I now have a bad feeling about moving to Amberlin Georgetown.

My only complaint is the choice of the water supplier company. Currently the base rate, without any usage, is $80 a month! Usage is only a few dollars. It keeps going up. Unlike electric companies, where each resident can choose his/her company. Other than that, this place is marvelous, especially the staff, despite the many changes in personnel. My lease renewal is mainly related to the price increase.

1. I have been living at Amberlin since you started and plan to live here as this is the type of community I wish to live in being 86 years of age. I chose to live at Amberlin first becausr your promotion was about providing a sense of Community and being a blue zone Community . Plus you envisioned Management to be at the bottom and the people at the top in terms of priority and care.2. Amberlin is located near the last of my living family and I plan to hire people to provide the extra care that I need and why I have chosen a larger apartment than I need at this time. This is what my husband & family chose to do when he was ill and dieing.3. I need my base rent to be a little lower so I can afford the rise in other services like the water, electricity, etc.4. Offering to lease of 24 months helps both of us.5. I am only asking for an incentive bonus of $1,000 you are offering others who sign their lease early because I was unable to do that as I was away on an international business trip (to help pay for my rent) in June and was not aware of my early lease opportunities and unfortunately, in the hospital for six days with pneumonia upon my return.5. My plan is stay at Amberlin and hope you will help me remain a part of your "Vision" to provide a new alternative for "Seniors".
