I have been here for over two years and have seen staff come and go. We seem unable to keep anyone. This is very disruptive and concerning. We are losing people to a cheaper, brand-new complex because of rent increases, when we are already overpriced. I plan on staying since I have been offered an incentive to stay and no rate increase. I was planning on looking. I will stay another 15 months and see how things go. The gatherings are getting cheaper and cheaper as far as horderves are concerned.

Peter and Tyler are amazing. This work order was completed in record time. All 3 of us working together to get the job done. They replaced the motor to my ac unit and it’s working again as it should. Thank you to Peter and Tyler! 🇺🇸

I chose the Amberlin because it is close to my family who I usually spend my weekends with therefore I’m not able to comment on that time. Calling it a “55+ active community” isn’t a good description to me as there seem to be many here who are not able to be active. It seems to me that more activities are geared to the inactive rather than the active. I enjoy living here and am planning on staying at this time.Dee Gauche

I work and arrive home near 5p or after. I no longer feel valued, accepted, heard, respected, and have limited options. Most activities are during the day and end by the time I arrive home. Sometimes I need to speak to a manager and that isn't always permissible because he/she isn't available, or is out of the office. Inconsistency and not enough communication about the changes, and expectations of us are dissappointing. Staff doors are closed and needs aren't met. In the beginning this wasn't happening. There were no surprises because of emails and face to face communication.

A basic orientation at the beginning of residency would help with the transition to apartment living in Amberlin Georgetown. Each complex has its own procedures and electronic uniqueness. Getting acquainted with the specific methods would help diminish the feeling of deer in the headlights. Even an electronic presentation of methods and procedures would be a benefit. Thanks for asking.
