My year there was very stressful from the beginning. Issues with my yard thst were never corrected. Issue with drains in that every time it rained my yard flooded up to door. They installed turf but never maintained it. It stunk so bad i could not enjoy my yard. The staff was horrible. Always saying corporate corporate….There were so many issues with the building. Leaks. Black mold…. Leaks in the landscaping causing mosquito infestation. Then the snakes!!! 23 killed since May!!! Again management ignored them. I could not take it anymore. Not going to live in fear.The activities are more suited for a nursing home instead of an active 55 community. You asked… zi told you. Look at the occupancy. More leaving than staying.

My apartment shower leaked from day one and was absorbed by baseboard, the balcony wall leaked water was absorbed into baseboard and if wind blew it came into living room. Neither issue fixed and I was concerned about mold. Kitchen sink fell out of countertop that was fixed. Too many issues from January to August. I don't have to live with maintenance issues. Sad thing this is a fairly new building.

Besides having management and maintenance, there should be a pay out of pocket resident advocate for in apartment honey do's, not a list of residents who MIGHT be available. I've been here since August 18 and I'm still trying to have a drapery rod hung in my living room. I also need a tall ladder to hang a few pictures. I can't borrow the apartment ladder from maintenance due to apt liability. Therefore, I'm going today to Home Depot to buy a 6' ladder to hang pictures. The shower heads are of poor quality, along with low water pressure. I purchased a $60 shower head with maintainence replacing it. The washer is fare, but the dryer is of low quality. I left my one year old GE set with my house when I sold it, since they were furnished here. It takes FOREVER to get my laundry dried, using extra electricity. Don't get me started on the outside a/c units! Management was to check how much it would cost to have the privacy fences provided in between patios installed on my patio. I purchased two 5' patio privacy fences from Wayfair, but need someone to put them together for me. I'm saving Amberlin money by solving the sore eye myself. This is where the resident advocate would come in place. Better windows would improve the quality of sleep with the MANY a/c units at our bedroom windows.

The maintenance guys are great however their follow up not so good. I had to call them Tuesday morning for them to come up and check to see if the cabinet is dry and I don’t need the fan. They said I did. They said they would be back yesterday at 4:30 and never came back. I will call them again today to have them do a final check to complete the job.
