Our maintenance team is terrific

I turned in a checklist for everything that needs maintenance in this apt. I have not heard from maintenance. I wonder if any maintenance was done before I moved in on August 22Just an example: toilets did not flush and water ran all night. It was fixed the next day while we moved in. Kitchen cabinets are warped and need adjusting desperately. AC filter was so dirty it looked like it had not been changed in a year. I changed it. Washing machine has a wired squeal when it starts to agitate. Probably a bad gear on the tub. Bathroom door is so warped it will not shut unless you slam it very very hard. The Windows are filthy. I tried to take off screens to clean but there is a trim around them I can’t remove. I am afraid it may break if I force it to get it off. We took this apartment because of the view. It’s like looking thru a heavy fog. Bathtub has so much minerals and calcium on the bathtub drain and plug it barely closes to hold water in the tub. AmBerlin is advertised as senior living and everyone knows seniors need bars to keep from falling. I would have expected this apartment and hallways to have bars along all walls in the hallways and in each apartment for the toilet and shower as this is where most accidents occur for seniors. The community is senior therefore more handicap and disabled parking is needed. Only two spaces at each stairwell is not adequate. The same cars park in the handicap spaces most of the time not allowing anyone else to use the space. There needs to be uncovered handicap parking as well as covered. Along the fence line. Swimming pool hours after dark are limited at best. Most of us can’t go out in the heat of the day we must wait until dark or after sunset. By that time the pool is ready to close. Dogs start barking very early. I try to sit on my balcony with my morning coffee and dogs bark constantly so I have to come back inside. For the most part Amberlin is a peaceful, quiet, serene setting that looks good outside but inside the walls in the hallways are not plum or square. No bars for assistance walking down hallways, limited if any consideration for senior safety inside the apts or buildings.I thank you for your time and the opportunity to let you know what needs attention.Dr. Clifton E. The residents and staff are all friendly, inviting and welcoming without being pushy. I like that I'm not pushed to go to everything that comes up, but am welcomed if I do decide to participate. Sometimes I like to be left alone to read or watch TV and I am allowed to do that if I want to. Amberlin is beginning to feel like home and I am happy to be here.

They are on top of their business. I appreciate both Rashad and Alex.

Always friendly and responsive

Our maintenance staff is excellent! They respond as quickly as time allows. Always are friendly yet professional. They fix the problem as quickly as they can. They make sure you’re happy with the issue when they leave. Very respectful of your concerns.

Amberlin Pflugerville is a life changing experience of hope to continue living life in a happy environment! As a new widow after 50 years of marriage it was frightening. I was delighted that immediately I had friends that would greet me at coffee hour and we’d share our stories and then see each other at socials and one of the many activities offered.The staff are very helpful and friendly. The maintenance staff is top notch. The social calendar is full to the brim so one should never be bored. It is delightful living here.
