My husband passed away nearly a year ago and it has been a major adjustment for me. The staff has been courteous and worked with me in staying here under terms I could work with and I appreciate that. I hope their attitude and commitment to the residents never change. Feeling safe and secure are important for someone learning to be on their own, and I have that here.

I like my apartment. I really enjoy living here, with the exception of my yard. My yard has been flooding since the day that I moved in which was December 4, 2023. After 13 months of complaining, they finally put in a drain and planted new grass. Unfortunately that did not work. My yard is like a SWAMP everytime it rains. It is so very disgusting and upsetting. I cannot let my dog out. If I do, all he brings in is dead grass and dirt.I have asked for artificial grass, but as of this date, I have not heard back from the office.I am at the end of my patience. If this matter is not taken care of, I will have no other choice but to take this to a Lawyer and/or the news .

Apologies in advance: I left no response for #2. The survey I received makes a statement about maintenance for rating but the prompt is a question if “the community” is what responder “hoped for” but there is no modifier to specify maint/mgmt in this specific community. I have seen in texts and heard many residents here talk about how much they love this community - I can guarantee they are not thinking of appliances, plumbing or HVAC. I suspect you want an answer to gather data on maint/mgmt in this community and to know you are getting that answer, the prompt should be modified or changed and I say that after 30 years of credit, we were in the credit dept, did not issue credits for sales, it meant, as a part of finance, financial analysis and assigning credit terms to customers. COD has no credit terms. However if you wanted to estimate incoming cash, for sales purpose it’s a term.I want people to make the pain I went through worthwhile by helping them avoid my mistakes. That will help you better understand me and why I would take time to write this. It is appreciated.

The common spaces are too small to drive significant community. They feel jammed for events. Just one card table, one working computer, commmunity kitchen/dining and movie rooms are too small. Bingo and movies are SRO. Stairwell number one entry does not always lock and is outside the fence.

Banning windchimes would make it much more pleasant for residents who like to have their windows open sometimes. It's often windy here, and the windchimes are VERY loud and continuous.

Hard to put up with the constant beeping of the smoke alarm for two days.
