We love living here at Amberlin Wiregrass and Kylie was absolutely wonderful throughout the process and is so so good at what she does. Renee and Eileen have also done a spectacular job. The only complaint we have is about the security here. We were told it is not Amberlin’s job to provide security for its residents. We have been here over a month now and have already seen at least 3 gates and 1 building door that are broken or not working so anyone can walk onto the property and into our buildings. The door to our building has finally been fixed…but the other gates allow anyone access onto the property…why can’t all these gates be fixed so they can close and lock? We all have FOB keys for security that are really useless if gates and doors are accessible to anyone who doesn’t live here. We recently found out a lady was walking into our building each night, going down the hallway where we live, and trying door knobs to see whose door was open. Our biggest complaint was that there was no mass email sent to the residents so we could be aware of what was happening. We were only able to find out because we overheard others talking. We understand things like this can’t be prevented, but residents should be told about situations like this for our own safety and awareness. Many apartment complexes have security cameras installed, which is actually cheaper than paying an hourly rate for security to drive around the property.
