Everything was great and pictures of property were accurate and did a great job of representing the house as it was. The garage was great, I am not sure if I overlooked in the online description, but a welcome surprise when I arrived.I am sure the recent storms have presented challenges in the dock area hope improvements are in the future. The power outlets were not working, no access to fresh water, and dock/lift placement make it difficult to keep a boat secured safely even without access the lift. The provided buoys were great to see, but not in the correct position to keep a boat on the seawall with the rising and falling tides. The location is perfect for an avid fisherman/pleasure boater with just a little attention to the docking situation!My short list of possible improvements:+Have one of the king mattresses less firm providing an option for those who are not comfortable with a firm mattress.+Ceiling fans in the master bedroom and living room area!!+Freezer in the garage for additional ice storage, bottled water, etc.+ The jacuzzi does not get hot. The pool may need to be heated but have stayed in properties that you don't need to heat the entire pool for only the jacuzzi to get hot?++ Happy Stays App - I did not feel comfortable with having to upload a headshot photo to an app. There was little explanation to why that was needed or how it would be used.Overall, I was very pleased with the property and location as it was represented online and the Down Anchor Team whom I was in communication with. They provided me with the perfect amount of communication to ensure that I felt supported. I will definitely keep this property in my top consideration for upcoming visits and any future enhancements may even make this my go to property.

This house! Amazing. Gorgeous, so clean and comfortable. It not only had everything we needed but it felt like home. Thank you so much for letting us borrow your piece of paradise!

Our stay was satisfactory and we will definitely rent from Anchor Down in the future. Our family enjoyed the stay, especially the children. I would like to mention the master bathroom towel rod does not hold a towel. It fell everytime someone tried to hang a towel. It seems as if the spacing is too far apart to keep the rod in. Also, it would be nice in the future to have efficient outdoor lighting near the dock. Please note we didn't participate in the fireworks being shot off next door from us (Clam Factory). I am positive there will be dispensed shells in the yard. We did our best to treat your property as we do our home. Thank you and God bless!

Our stay was wonderful! Only suggestion would be new trash can as the lid barely opens.Also the fan in the master bedroom didn’t work. My husband put new batteries in the remote and tried to see if that would help but it didn’t. The led light on the remote works (even before he put in new batteries) so we think the remote works. Might just be an issue with the fan itsellf. The light on the fan works.Lastly the sliding door (middle one) is very difficult to lock and unlock.None of these things affected our stay at all! But wanted to mention. Thanks again for an awesome stay! :)

We love the property, it is beautiful and this was our 2nd stay. But I did reach out by responding to the email we received on the first day and no one responded or got back to me. We had a question about the spa not heating up at all. Also, the TV in the master bedroom randomly turns on at all hours. I shut it off 10x a day/night and it just comes back on and there's no way to unplug it. The Ninja tent for the beach is so perfect, but it's missing the bands that are needed to put on the top of the poles this year, they were there last year when we used it but are gone now.I do think that 10am is quite early for check out on your last day, considering how much you require the guests to clean up before leaving, 11am would be more reasonable to leave time to do the beds, towels, garbage, etc.Thanks!!

We enjoyed our stay at the home; it is a very nice house with a great location. A few comments we have. The outside garbage cans are disgusting and one doesn't have a lid and fills up with water. It was full of maggots and smelled terrible. My husband ended up cleaning it out. He should not have had to do that. The pool was not clean upon our arrival. There is no broom or mop in the house to spot clean up during your stay. Maybe consider a squeegee for the porch, when it rains, water pools up there and it takes forever to dry.

We loved the outdoor shower! But we still tracked in a lot of sand. We needed more rugs and at least one kitchen towel. The water from the shower on the main floor came out of both the shower and the faucet so the shower water pressure was low. The sink in that bathroom also drains slowly. We loved the proximity of the property to the water.

Loved our stay, beautiful home. Would have loved to have full length mirrors to check our outfits and wall clocks in the rooms too. Never knew what time it was unless I checked my phone. We bought oil and spices, salt, pepper, etc..Would have been nice to already have those on hand.
