The house was superb. The set up, the amenities were excellent.

Anchor Down Real Estate and Rentals exceeded all of my expectations. Their professionalism, communication, and knowledge of the local market were critical in helping me with my real estate needs. Ben was exceptional in keeping me up-to-date, and always responded in a timely manner.

We had a great time and enjoyed the house a lot. The space was perfect for our group and it made us feel like we were in a tropical place on vacation the entire time without having to fly out of the country.

The booking experience was fine, although I had to ask for written confirmation of permission to have a boat and trailer at the house as noted on your contract's fine print. If you don't actually want to require that, then take it out of your documents. The house we rented was fair. It's for sale, and apparently the owners aren't making improvements. Power was an issue at the boat dock, the oven temperature was impossible to read, the kitchen equipment was mediocre (skillets with damaged coatings, no scissors, rusty tongs), the grill lighter doesn't work--I could go on. For the price and the ability to book more than a Sat-Sat stay, we were okay, but we most likely won't book this property again.

The condo was beautiful, comfortable, and exquisitely decorated. The booking and communications were informative and helpful. As a note, on the information for checking in, for those who read linearly and follow those instructions as an order to follow, I would recommend that your place the note about the “when pulling in….” As the second sentence in the paragraph (instead of later in the text) which would further the understanding of where to turn. Note regarding the property for things that could be improved: the pool was not adequately clean as there was lots of circular algae throughout the pool and it looked gross and uninviting. In the master bathroom the shower needs better cleaning to remove all the mold in the grout lines and there is a bulb in the bathroom that flickers. Bulb is not working in the shower (near the washer-dryer)… maybe you are aware, but the carpet in the living room is quite stained.
