The house was perfect . We enjoyed our time in the property

Blinds upstairs need replacing, water faucet outside with hose is stripped and can’t be turned on. Might want to consider an electrical outlet outside for those who rent electric golf carts. Not complaining none of the items listed affected our stay.

This was the perfect stat for our family. Lots of activities nearby, my boys loved the park so that they could play basketball and pickeleball. The pool and hot tub were the perfect tempature. We loved the hoop in the pool!! The hosts were very responsive. Thank you for an excellent stay. We would definitely book this place again.

Overall the house was exactly how it looked in the pictures and was as expected. The property management was not very helpful. We had an issue where we couldn’t get the TV’s to work and the communication was not helpful and confusing. Upon leaving we forgot something in the house and got locked out and couldn’t get ahold of anyone through texting and was sent to voicemail at the main line. Very frustrating and not a good experience overall. Would make me concerned on renting another house managed by Anchor Down

The house was beautiful and clean. Location was perfect for us, nice neighborhood and the company was easy to communicate with. Large home with plenty of room for the whole family. The only things I would say weren’t perfect was the pool never got warm enough for us Illinoisan’s and it was very, very, VERY loud. At one point we had to shut it off so we could sleep because it was up against one of the master walls. The other suggestions I would put out there would be you need more pool floats and definitely for $4000.00 for 6 days with up to 10’ people you need to provide more toilet paper, only 1.5 rolls per bathroom and you really should provide body wash, shampoo and conditioner, even cheap stuff. The bedding was very nice and the bath towels were huge, which was nice!!! Oh and maybe leave some aluminum foil and Saran. These all are items we have been provided at other rentals through the years, especially at this price. The home overall was beautiful and we had a wonderful time. Would recommend for sure. Great home for a large family.

We had a good stay at the property, though there were a few repairs that should be made. The trim on the door from the home to the garage. The master bathroom (barn) door the safety stop was not in place. Both myself and my son got stuck in the bathroom because one of the wheels fell off the track. We were able to lift it back onto the track. If you pulled the door too far closed the whole door could come off.The unit was mostly clean just lacked some attention to detail. The floors looked clean, but could use a good scrub as our feet looked dirty after walking on them. The light fixtures above the dining table and kitchen sink were dusty. There were some stains on the sofa in the living room and the rug looks dingy.We had most everything we needed. The unit was well appointed. I could have used a set of tongs and a potato peeler but otherwise had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed that there was an air fryer and a keurig!

Reservation and response was easy and prompt. Anchor Down checked in with us regularly to be sure all was going well.Only complaint was the early checkout when we were expected to wash and put all linens back on beds. ( without adding additional fees)

The house is very clean and comes with everything you need to fish on the dock or spend the day at the beach.

The place was nice and spacious for 5 of us, overall very clean. Location was great on the canal and close to Anna Maria island however super busy to cross the bridge which we did not realize which lead to 30-40 travel time to get to beaches which was not ideal.The house needs some upgrades in the master bathroom - the sink fixtures are old, the towel bar is broken, lightbulbs out in the vanity.The kitchen sink is so hard to do dishes in - its so small, the faucet needs to be replaced as well, it does not turn off properly. The dishes also do not come out clean in the dishwasher.The hammocks in the backyard need to be relaced as well, the nylon materiel smells and is dirty. Using a natural material that can sustain the elements would be ideal.The pool cleaning company came by while we were there however they did not clean the hottub, it was still very dirty.I had to purchase better quality toilet paper and papertowels during our stay , which was not a big deal but for the money it would be nice to have these on hand for people when they arrive.Other than that, we enjoyed our stay however don't think we would re book this property again.Thank you,Brooke
