Many thanks to Anchor Down Vacation Rentals for allowing us to spend a spectacular week in one of their villas, specifically Mermaid Villa, with my entire family, which we enjoyed to the fullest. I hope it will be available again for our vacation next year. Thank so muchs

The property was nice, great location but if you are looking for feedback- I have some items you should address that perhaps a cleaning would not identify as problematic: - Blinds in both living room and bedroom have fallen and missing slats allowing lights or sunlight to come in and cheapens the look. - TV living room- there are odd lights within the tv that do not go away and distract for viewing. - lights- the ligh in the living room ceiling was burnt out - overall cleanliness- there was hair left in the upstairs drain, used q-tip and garbage left on top balcony, garbage left in trash bin in bathroom. - walls- they need to be wiped down, lots of streaks of grim both inside and out. -WiFi was terrible with most days having it out and unable to access direct tv or use devices. - water leaking in at front door. I have photos if you would like me to share.

The property and location were great. Anchor Down Vacation Rentals were also very responsive and helpful!

Everything was amazing

Make sure description fits what you are getting. Just a few things; We were told there was a Keurig, brought pods and no such thing. However there is a coffee pot, and we thought it was broken, but found out the filter was built in after we used the filters available to us. No, big deal really, just wanted to point that out. The handle on the cabinet above the stove is loose. The twin bed at the foot end is loose. The pool could use some repair, as there are no lights and the other pool has lights. Confusion on the hot tub being a “spa” or not. The other pool and “spa” seem to be better in that respect and there are lights in that pool. We were told that there would be a few extra beach chairs, so we wouldn’t overpack, but the chairs in the shed were rusted and ready to break, we asked to borrow from the shed next door, and they were in much better shape. The shed should probably be cleaned out. I think maybe you could use a few bowls with lids. The response times were good when we had questions, and the vacuum was broken and was replaced quickly. The place is very cute!! We will come back again!! The house itself is clean, and very cute!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay…especially the pool and the pool table inside. The beds were very comfortable. We also enjoyed the large screen TV and the TV’s in each bedroom. My only criticism would be that salt, sugar packets and coffee filters were not provided. Most short-term vacation rentals do provide them to guests. The rental agents were very helpful and accommodating with my questions and requests. I would definitely choose to stay at this beautiful home again.

We had a beautiful time with family at this Airbnb! They had so much amenities and games that we almost never had to leave the house.

Comfortable and close to the beach. Beautifully decorated with updates to the bathrooms and kitchens. All of the appliances are new and in very good working order. We enjoyed the air fryer and keurig coffee maker very much. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioner keeps the units cool. The washer and dryers are new and very easy to use . I rented both sides to this duplex so my daughter and her family could have some privacy and family time together. The pool is large, very refreshing and shaded in the afternoons. While the hot tub was relaxing in the evenings. The duplex is completely fenced in, so if you bring your pup, you don’t have to worry about them running in the street. This duplex is located on Gulf drive which can be busy during certain times during the day. The elementary school is very close and traffic is somewhat congested when school is starting and ending. When we needed to cross Gulf drive we walked to the cross walk, one block south of the duplex where it was safe to cross. This duplex is elevated so you do have some stairs to climb, this would not be suitable for handicapped individuals or people that have difficulty negotiating stairs. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the place was comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable.

From the minute we walked in, it did not disappoint. The house was an open concept, living room to kitchen, to sitting space. You wanted for nothing. All 3 bathrooms, double sinks, everyone had their own space. Slept everyone comfortably. Outside the pool was a great way to come home from the beach and just relax. Thank you for allowing our stay at this beautiful home. Everything was clean and well-stocked. The neighborhood was quiet, and the location is close to many shops. We all enjoyed it and had a great time!
