Too long of a wait time to see and start PT.

I had an appointment with Dr. Edgar at the Anderson Clinic(Mount Vernon) on July 17, and it was one of the most upsetting medical experiences I’ve ever had. From the beginning, he was dismissive, unprofessional, and demeaning when I tried to ask questions about the pain that brought me in. Rather than listening to my concerns, he seemed unwilling to investigate the actual area I was experiencing pain and initially did not want to order an X-ray of that area.The interaction became so distressing that it brought me to tears. I ultimately received more compassion and support from a woman at the front desk, who stepped in to help de-escalate the situation.As an African American woman, I left questioning whether bias played a role in how I was treated because I did not feel heard, respected, or safe during my visit. While I cannot know his intentions, I can speak to how the experience made me feel. Every patient deserves to have their concerns taken seriously and to be treated with dignity and respect.Based on my experience, I would not recommend Dr. Edgar. I expected compassionate, patient-centered care and left feeling dismissed and emotionally distressed and still in pain.

Dr. Was a genius to advise treadmill running instead of running outside. The net effect was to boost my conditioning to a sufficient level to run the Baltimore marathon (outside).

I have been a patient at The Anderson Clinic since 1979 and have undergone at least 11 hip and knee replacement surgeries.

Dr. Edwin was very rude and obnoxious

Based on my previous knee replacement surgery experience with Dr Hamilton I’d never want anyone else to perform any orthopedic surgery I might need in the future.

Been a patient for 10 years. One knee replacement another in the future. But critical to note...the Anderson team never rushes you into surgery. They work all options to improve your quality of life before moving to surgery as the last resort.

The PAs and nurses are extremely pleasant and reply to all my concerns and questions.

Everything is top notch. I scheduled my hip replacement surgery within 6 weeks. The surgical center at the National Harbor was very nice, convenient and the nurses and Dr Engh were outstanding!

Í appreciate the professionalism of the doctors and staff and the careful attention to me as the patient.Everything seemed to ‘work’ at this clinic.
