I wish the reminder(s) you send out the day(s) before the visit had a map, or clearer info on where to park. The appointment reminder said: 2501 Parker Lane; I put that into my gps and gps sent me to the complete opposite of where I needed to be. I had to stop three different people in the parking lot(s) to find out where on the hospital campus I needed to be When you send the reminder, a link to a map with TURN BY TURN DIRECTIONS, once you are at the hospital entrance off the city street, would be really helpful

Very informative and helpful. I received excellent treatment from courteous staff. I got answers to all my questions and exeryone was professional and kind. Very happy with my visit.

I found out about the Andersen Clinic from a friend. She indicated that she had gotten her knees replaced with them. She was so convincing that they could help me. She had only positive things to say. To my surprise, she was right. The members of the team were friendly and very informative. The Anderson Orthopaedic main phone #number (703) 892-6500 is almost impossible to reach a person! I have waited over one hour to get an operator! When someone finally answered, I was cut off! No call back! Another day, I tried to call and left message to be called back in the cue. I did not get a call back in over 5 hours at which time the phones closed for a day. There do not seem to be direct lines to reach specific departments or individuals This situation is unacceptable for an outstanding nationally recognized Orthopaedic Facility with some of the finest Orthopaedic MD'S in the country! I actually had to leave work on two occasions to go the the Anderson Clinic at Mt Vernon to get information I needed and to make an appointment. The staff at the desk was very responsive and professional. The Orthopaedic MD's, Physician Assistant, X-ray technicians and all but one RN were wonderful and professional. The one RN who scheduled the initial surgery and was supposed to be available to contact if I had questions etc, only gave her first name and no direct phone # or email address. I tried to call her through the main #, to send a fax her, and finally went over to the hospital and got her last name and email address, emailed her and asked to speak briefly with her on the phone. She emailed back with a curt email stating that she wanted to communicate by email but if had to call, I could call her after 5. I did call after 5 and the main line was the emergency line to reach an MD, not her! This is ridiculous! I sent her an email with several suggestions as basic as giving patients her last name and an email address, direct line phone # etc. After that email was sent, she called me and addressed what I had wanted to address before surgery in a no more than 10 minute phone call! I would never consider treating people I treat in this unprofessional manner. I respond promptly to any patient. I am hopeful that this initial contact with Anderson Orthopedic, usually by phone, will be addressed ASAP to present a positive and respectful response to people who are seeking treatment, attempting to schedule appointments or information about services provided by the outstanding Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic!
