All points of contact were excellent/good. The “goods” stem from that I was expected to ask questions. Hip replacement is something I know nothing about and then I had to know everything about it to ask questions. PA Annie was excellent in explanations.

The PA I saw at tour Shirlington location for this pre-op meeting was uninterested in me as a patient. He was unable or unwilling to answer any medication questions, and he scared the hell out of me, a 75 year old man, by telling me how excruciating the pain would be one day after my surgery. When I asked why his description was so frightening, he said he only gives his patients the worst case scenario. This frightened me, created great anxiety, and this visit was a complete waste of time. He also treated me like I was an interruption in his day. He could have just called in my prescriptions, and then I could have avoided his awful outlook and prognosis of my surgery. I drove 170 miles round trip to get the hell scared out of me! Also he was too lazy to answer any simple medication questions. My partner was with me and she is a retired physician …and she, too, was appalled at our treatment during this awful visit. This pompous guy needs customer service training for sure. He also needs to show a level of concern and helpfulness towards your patients!
