Scheduler did not want to give me a near-term appointment, even though the after hours physician indicated told me and left word with scheduling office.that my swollen knee needed immediate attention. PA explained my contrition very clearly; could have used assistance in draining my knee.

This was just what I was looking for! The PA that met with me, Martelle, was very thorough and attentive to my needs and concerns. While pain in my ankle that I was experiencing on Friday evening had largely resolved by Saturday morning, she was still able to examine my leg and identify the likely source of my pain. She came up with a treatment plan, explained it to me, administered injections at the site, and set up a follow-up appointment. We also discussed my AFOs, and she wrote a prescription for me to use to get a new evaluation and possible update to my AFO that might alleviate the irritation to my leg and ankle. It would have been nice to have scheduled the next appointment as opposed to having call in and be on hold for a long time.

I am beyond pleased with every aspect of my dealings with Anderson and every staff member of the team that I have encountered, both at the Lorton location and the Alexandria (INOVA Hospital) location.
