I wish that more potluck gatherings were made available. Also two dog owners are allowed to ignore policy rules preventing dogs from being in the community room as well as other areas. For some reason rules apparently don’t apply to them which makes some residents wonder why any rules should be listed if they are not going to be enforced.

Everyone has been very welcoming and nice. I hope I am not perceived as stand-offish, but I am somewhat of a recluse (and maybe a little introverted).Even though I don’t use many of the facilities and don’t participate in many of the activities, I appreciate the fact that they are there. They add a pleasant dimension to the complex.I thought I would struggle with downsizing from a 4200 sq ft house. But I have to say that getting rid of a lifetime of material possessions (much of which I didn’t really need) has felt very rewarding.

People in groups seldom beyond first introduction use names so very difficult to learn/remember names. No one seems to like name tags including myself, so if there was a book that contained pictures and names available to residents that would help. Also, help security as there are people coming through the front door that nobody recognizes.

Maintenance man was professional and helpful and went the extra mile in cleaning and inspecting my bathroom sink drain of the recurring black goo. I was quite pleased with the effort and the results.
