The visit to the Hamilton Audi garage was as good as expected.I have to return as the part has to be ordered in. I have moved home 54 miles from the Hamilton garage and was told that I would have to return to Hamilton for the part to be fitted as this is where the original inspection was done. It would have been more convenient to be given access to the Lookers garage in Ayr which is nearer my home and the repair is under warranty.

I was sent a text with a link outlining the current status of my vehicle which only ever said it was in the workshop then after a few days didn’t work at all. I wasn’t that bothered because I had been told when I dropped off the car that it would take 6-7 days to repair it which turned out to be true.The lady who booked my car in did well to keep me from getting too angry at my new car being taken off me for a week, and efficiently sorted a taxi home and a hire car the same day.

I didn’t receive a video from my health check and the car did not get the complimentary wash and vac that I was told it would receive.
