When I bought my Audi Q5 in Feb 2022, I purchased the Term Protection Vehicle Service Contract for $1850. I salesperson told me the agreement covered the Brake service (it is a checked box on the agreement page 1) and therefore the contract would pay for itself just for the brakes. I scheduled a service call for the brakes in Jan 2026 as part of the agreement. The service person said my break pads were still basically new (at 47K miles!) and that they could not perform the service. I only received the first page of the agreement from the salesperson, but I assume the brake service expires with the rest of the agreement at 4 yrs/48K miles (if that is not the case, please let me know). I think it is deceptive for a salesman to sell a service contract that specifically calls out Brake service, when apparently there is virtually no chance such a service will be needed at 48K miles. I definitely would not have bought this plan had the salesperson not stressed that this was covered. I talked to the finance manager to 1) see if the brakes were still covered beyond the 4 yr/48K miles, and if not, 2) to see if I could get a refund for this service agreement because of the deceptive practice by the salesperson. The finance manager 1) did not know anything about these types of contracts and 2) was going to try and get me a full refund if the brake service was not included beyond the 4 yr/48K, but again he told me he didn't know anything about these contracts. I have not heard back from the finance manager. So I am disappointed, as I feel I was deceptively enticed to buy a contract that offered a brake service that would, in the end, never be needed at that mileage. Please let me know if the brake service is still covered past the 4 yr/48K mileage. If not, let me know if there is anything else Audi Burlington can do to help ameliorate the situation.
