The experience I had was not great and I will be very cautious purchasing another vehicle from Jim Ellis without having a full inspection done. Purchased the Murano and less than one day after purchase two issues came up. One being a bad battery and had to get car towed. The second was oil dripping due to Oil being spilled all over the engine during the oil change that was done at the Audi Jim Ellis dealer before I purchased the car and it passed inspection without the oil being cleaned up. Yes Jim Ellis replaced the battery and cleaned up the oil but not after much headache and time wasted. It was two issues I should not have dealt with on a inspected used car from a major dealership. Not to mention your employees at this dealership tend to have an attitude and want to defend their inspection and quality process instead of agreeing the customer is right and just admitting they dropped the ball. I expected better.

First let me say, I've purchased my vehicle from a dealer and then had it in Storage as I was deployed overseas so the Vehicle was never used. Upon return to the US I sent the vehicle in for 6 year maintenance plus spark plugs and a Battery replacement. That can be quite expensive about $1500, but I didn't mind as I expected the "Audi" service. I've been a customer for the past 10 years! 3rd Audi. After several attempts to get in touch with the service rep working with my vehicle, ( no call backs, no emails, zero update) there was some confusion on whether my vehicle was completed. Anyways moving forward I get there to pick up the vehicle ( day 3) which just had all this maintenance done on my vehicle and it will not start using the (push to start) this is how I've always started my vehicle, the main reason why I love the Prestige Package. With the vehicle still parked in the Audi lot, Returned to the Representative, he came out, tried, and the same, it only started with the key in ignition. He proceeded to tell me that it was the key Battery, however I just replaced both the key battery, both brand new! Then he proceeded to tell me the push to start was probably not working when it got there, which it very well was working. Again this is the only way I start my vehicle, the day vehicle was sent in for maintenance I had the vehicle Jump started ( from storage ) twice, using the push to start both times! So the vehicle was taken again for further troubleshooting, after waiting about 2 hours I got an update that the technician knew and never informed the Representative I was dealing with, and that they think something wasn't synced to the push to start so they needed another day, ok great! Next day, my update was they were talking to some other Tech reps and trying to figure out the problem and not to expect the vehicle over the weekend. Great I can plan around it! Almost a week of not having my vehicle. I have no problem waiting on my vehicle, but the upsetting part is, the minute something was wrong before I could even start my vehicle, was the manner in which the Audi Rep seemed to be pointing fingers, trying to say it was my fault, when fully well, I just gave Audi to change my Battery and Service Maint. The car was off the lot and in a garage. I'm disappointed in the way he handled that. Another one of the excuses I got was, the truck wasn't opening, it's an electronic switch! The battery was dead! And some other thing with the valet ( all which had nothing to do with the push to start). The Rep did put us back into a loaner vehicle, I'm happy with that. Again it's just the way he handled the situation and was casting blame, very disappointing.

Overall the service was good. But there was some gap in communication and I had to reach out to them every time for an update rather than them calling about it.
