I had taken my audi to marietta audi several times(this was my 3rd time in 2016 and it was only june). This seemed to be the 3rd time with the same problem. Accelerating oto the highway.....a cloud of smoke would come out, the car would vibrate, the check engine light would come on.....then the car would have a rough ride and vibrate when idle (like at a stop light). The 1st time, Jan dealer recall. 2nd time april, cant recall the issue but a $900 "fix". 3rd time (same symptoms)....took my car in for assessment $572. Richard Ponce told me "the good thing about audi is that they have a machine that tells exactly the problem in a couple of minutes". When I said I would just pick my car up...I found out there would be a $165 cost...even though no work had been done. $165 to hook up to a machine for a couple of minutes? This was never never told to me beforehand. I was so upset, I got my car and left. I have since been working with a different Audi dealership on Peachtree Industrial and am in the process of getting a new car. I would never consider buying a Car from Jim Ellis marietta....the whole experience felt very used car shady dealership. Everyone was "professional" but the deception of not disclosing $165 even if I don't move forward with the work left a very bad taste in my mouth.

We had some disappointments with our most recent service. First, I scheduled a loaner vehicle for our service appointment. When I arrived on time I was told there was no loaner requested (even though I showed the service rep the confirmation. He said even if I had reserved one the appointment was too short for a loaner. I would need to wait two hours or reschedule for another time, and wait then too. I left and latter that day emailed both the general manager and services manager about the issue. I never received any responses. We scheduled another appointment (as we have a maintenance contract for this S5) and my wife offered to bring it in a wait. On this visit they assured her I would receive a loaner vehicle next time. The service went fine. However, the service rep found a nail in one of the tires and said it can be patched but they don't do that there, so we would need to go to a tire store to have that done. Really hard to imagine a service department for Audi's can't patch a tire.

I was told that the car would be ready at 2:30pm. It was not ready until 5pm. Also, today 3 days after spending more than $1100 on 4 new tires (including $129 on alignment...surely this should be included in overall service...since I was also having a service done) my tire light came on in the car. Saying that all 4 tires are under-inflated. On a Sunday when Jim Ellis Audi service is closed, and tomorrow is July 4th and they're closed again so I have to go back to the dealership on Tuesday a major inconvenience.

The Technician that assisted us was great! I could see he has a lot of work- cars that came in but he was still able to service us with excellence. He is at the second desk as I came in -- I need to find his name because he is the one I will go to. He assist me the last time I was there and more and more I am feeling comfortable with him. I am starting to think that I might be able to trust him and maybe believe what he tells me. Maybe I can come without my son coming with me. Audi A4 . Service was excellent. Thank you
