We had the best experience at Austin Children’s Dentistry. Our child is autistic, non-verbal, and has sensory challenges, so I was honestly terrified to take him to the dentist. What I expected to be a nightmare turned out to be the complete opposite. From the moment we walked in, Stephanie and Tiffany at the front desk were so kind and welcoming and just went above and beyond! Ellie, who helped with X-rays and assisted during the visit, was incredibly patient and gentle. And of course, Dr. Arwa Owais was absolutely amazing—so understanding, compassionate, and skilled. They all took the time to make my son feel safe and comfortable, and because of that, he was able to complete his dental work without heavy sedation—which I truly didn’t think would be possible.I am beyond grateful to this entire team in a way I can’t fully put into words. Their compassion and care made all the difference for our family.

Crowns weren’t adjusted to her bite.Lily cannot bite down on anything, which annoys her.I Don't like that the provider didn't try to adjust/mold the crowns to her bite. She also now speaks with a lisp, as her front teeth don’t meet. This is problematic and needs to be corrected.I’ve had dental work done and they’ve always done this for me.

Very uncomfortable experience. After I shared we hadn’t taken my kids (London and Payton) to the orthodontist yet, the dentist’s demeanor changed and the visit felt rushed. No X-rays were taken for Payton, and notes referenced London’s 2025 X-rays instead of this visit while saying she had the same issue. Sealants were done, but some of Payton’s teeth were skipped for some reason. It felt like we were being pushed out for not following their recommendation. We will be finding a new dentist.

Dr gave numbing injection to my son, he's had ALOT of these with out issue before and is used to the brief burning sensation. This time he experienced significant pain, he was grasping armrests and visibly in pain. The dr dismissed his pain, basically said moms often think kids are braver than they are, it terrible bedside manner. My son said he felt the normal pinch and burn then intense tooth pain as well. Google says this can be from hitting a nerve directly or injecting anesthetic too fast.
