I would recommend the practice. The doctor and medical staff were among the best I've ever seen. The admin staff were ok to excellent. But I was unpleasantly surprised by the billing practices. I have dental insurance and the doctor had inform me that insurance would cover the procedure. Rather than first applying my insurance to determine my copay, the staff first told me the "no insurance" price. I had to push back and insist that they apply the insurance first. The coordinator eventually did this and I paid an appropriate amount. But why does this practice harass patients this way? Every other doctor/ dental practice I've been to runs the insurance first. The excellent medical care I received at the facility means that I will go there and recommend the practice, despite its messed-up billing practices.

The staff and Dr. Quaroni are excellent, professional and courteous. Our family has seen Dr. Quaroni for different mouth and teeth issues over the years and would highly recommend him and the staff to anyone needing an oral surgeon. Thanks.

Dr Andrea L Quaroni performed both of my surgeries and not only is he a master in his craft (extremely detailed and thorough) but he has a way of easing any anxiety about the surgery and is incredibly kind. I’d highly recommend.

Recommend (1) giving patients ice packs before they leave after having oral surgery, (2) stressing importance and recommended timing for use of ice packs and other instructions, (3) directing patients who have had oral surgery to exit the facility through an alternate door so they are not stared at by persons in waiting room, allowing patients more dignity. Thank you!

Dr. Quorani is top notch. I was very nervous about my appt. and Dr. Quaroni was so gentle and caring. He checked on me several times and I knew I was in good hands. We didn't have a good experience with a doctor at the south offices of Austin Oral Surgery years prior so I was worried. Our daughter wasn't doing well with the anesthesia he gave to her when he removed her wisdom teeth, and he simply parked her in the hallway along with a bunch of other patients recovering. He didn't check on them near enough and some needed care. He acted like the wisdom teeth extractions were like a fast food drive thru and people had to wait, parked in line, for healthcare. Also, the place was badly in need of repair and felt dingy and dirty. The Austin Oral Surgery on 38th is a world of difference. So clean and professional, friendly staff, superior doctors. We love Dr. Quaroni and his staff!

The only thing I can think of to improve my experience would be to make the service free. Seriously, all the staff is great and Dr Quarino is a super star. He explained the procedure, answered questions, showed compassion and above all is extremely talented. The side effects were minor and healing was rapid due to his skill.
