It would have been nice to know about how many meds I was going to be taking for the procedure of removing one tooth. Also why fill out all that paperwork if it's not read. I'm allergic to DYES as an example.

From walking in the front door to sitting down to schedule our wisdom teeth appointment for our daughter, the staff and team made us feel comfortable for such an important decision. Dr. Cunningham was so patient with our daughter getting her prepped for the surgery, told her everything he was doing so she wouldn't feel surprised. He made sure she knew all the steps, what it would feel like and to not worry because she was in good hands. Afterwards, the technician or nurse that brought our daughter out to us was very informative sharing post operation instructions.

Last Thursday my husband headed to AOS, me in tow, having maybe the most painful toothache ever! I was really having a “Bad Day”! We were on the way to see Dr. Cunningham for a CONSULTATION only about a tooth extraction. As usual I had really worked myself into a terrible nervous wreck like I always do before any dental work. But I was only going for a CONSULTATION! I was glad we didn’t have to wait too long thus leaving less time for me to worry (Oh gosh I was really hurting!). Soon we were sitting across from Dr Cunningham looking at my X-rays as he explained exactly where all my pain was coming located. At that point he turned to ask if I just wanted to take that tooth out right then. While I was thinking I’d just come back another day, both my husband and Dr. Cunningham reminded me that unless I did the pain would only get worse. So we followed him and his nurse to the treatment room to get me ready for the extraction. A little numbing later and we were into the procedure. Fairly quickly it was over. All that anxiety and now it was over. (If more dentists were like him I might even get over my fear of dental work! ). The staff quickly sent in prescriptions for me to pick up at the pharmacy on the way home. Dr Cunningham stepped back into the room to say he was available for anything we might need and just call. Since the whole thing from CONSULTATION to extraction was so fast, it was good to know we could call him with any questions that might pop up. This all started out as a very “BAD DAY” for me. Now it and the pain would soon be over. But for Dr Cunningham it was just all in a day’s work! What a Day!
