I was disappointed with how a prescription issue was handled following my son’s wisdom tooth removal. The patient’s prescribed pain medication was being withheld by his father, leaving the patient without access to medication that had been prescribed for his post-operative care. I offered to file a police report documenting the medication as stolen or unlawfully withheld and requested that a replacement prescription be considered in the event the patient needed it. However, I was told the doctor would not get involved because it was considered a family dispute. While I understand the desire to avoid family conflicts, I felt the primary focus should have been on ensuring the patient’s access to appropriate post-surgical pain management and continuity of care. The situation left me feeling that the patient’s medical needs were secondary to the dispute surrounding the medication. I believe there should be clearer procedures for addressing situations where a patient cannot access prescribed medication through no fault of their own.

I had no issues during this time. Front desk and insurance ladies were easy to work with. I was very nervous and the young lady who prepped me for surgery was awesome. She made me feel at ease. Dr. Szalay is great. This is the second time that he has extracted a tooth for me. He is very friendly, answered all questions and was very professional and answered all questions regarding the surgery.No complaints. Thank you Dr. Szalay and staff.

Thank you for taking such good care of my Mom. Dr. Szalay and his team were patient and kind to my mother who has dementia. I cant thank them enough for the kindness they showed to my mom and to me.

Staff was fly for the Moment. I went to the time I left. I got scheduled right away. No Hiccups or anything along the way.

Great staff and experience

There was some confusion over the insurance, what was covered or not, in versus out of network. I did get different info from different people between when I was there in-person and when I was on the phone. It was all sorted out in the end, but that's the only thing to maybe improve.
