See first section of this survey. It is appropriate to ask for a survey to be completed but asking for multiple explanations when the score is less than 5 makes the survey much longer so (as in my case) if you want to make a complaint about a specific part of the service, you are delayed unless you check off everything as 5/5. An open ended survey would be more concise and allow the customer to provide feedback that is focused on what the customer finds good or bad. Forcing a grade of 5/5 for everything else to allow the customer to provide feedback regarding an area of dissatisfaction, is like punishing the customer. The customer is less likely to fill your survey. The technician was pleasant and helpful. However, Mitsubishi itself should be graded poorly for customer service. We were sent a coupon via email stating that there was an oil change coupon that we had to present to get the oil change for $ 9.99 instead of the full price $ 59.99. I printed the coupon with the email address on top and when the coupon was presented , the coupon was not accepted because the VIM # was that of our previous Mitsubishi which was traded in to the same dealership that sold us our current Mitsubishi. The dealership is under new management now and this is the dealership that we are continuing to deal with. How would we know that the VIM # is that of our old Mitsubishi and more importantly, why would the coupon for the old Mitsubishi be sent to us when we had traded it in to the same dealership years ago? Why did we not get a coupon for the current Mitsubishi- same car, newer model? Anyway, since it is an error made by Mitsubishi, I would have expected the dealership to honor the coupon that was presented and provide the oil change for the $ 9.99. Instead, we were informed that they would give a $ 20? discount on the current oil change price which ended up being $59.99 (which was listed as the full price on the discount coupon!). Therefore, we did not really get any discount at all.Secondly, the radio on the Mitsubishi was recalled years ago and we did not get that replaced as we kept getting told that the radios were on order. We were able to get the radio this time as for some reason there was a spare radio in the dealership that could be switched out. We were not able to use the other radio as we should have been able to - unable to change the time, screen was not visible etc. for years. We liked Mitsubishi as they seemed to offer a good product with good customer service. We are not as happy now. I do believe that you should retain only the $ 9.99 for the oil change as per the coupon that was presented as your error is not our fault. and I am not sure what you can do for the problems due to not having a functioning radio for so long. The rating of 9 is for your service person who was helpful. I would grade Mitsubishi itself much lower.
