Outside updates look great!!! Interior really needs to be updated. It looks and smells worn, outdated and dirty. Since new owner last year care and processes have steadily improved. The first 6-8 months were ROUGH though. We have had 3 different loved ones living there since 2016 so have tons of experience with all the things Autumn Wind.

My knowledge of most of these items is secondhand through my sister, who is a resident. I would like to see more transportation provided by the facility.

I love being here. After 6 months, with a couple months grieving time after my husband died, i have met several people I like to call friends. Unfortunately, as is the case almost everywhere, there’s not enough money for the facility to have enough dependable workers to have one available at all times. Often our dependable head person is found working all day Sunday, or working in the kitchen or other place where there wasn’t a substitute when someone couldn’t show up for work. I have NO complaints about the care given. Thank you for asking.

I think there is room for improvement in Memory Care. There is a lot of turnover and the inconsistency is hard on residents. Who’s in charge there? That changes frequently too. My mom’s shared room is taken up with her roommate’s lift and 2 wheelchairs, and her bed is against the wall - not where I placed it. She consistently has a rash and sores and I’m it sure it’s being addressed as the Dr. has ordered. Overall the care is good but there can be improvements.

A really home atmosphere!Larry seems to be adjusting very well. THANKS for the caring you show him and all your residents. You are GREAT!!

We should be able to put tables together in the dining room. The client is more important than the corporation.

My mother seems to be concerned that the number of staff members is shrinking. Also the hall carpets need replaced. They are getting very dirty and worn.

Thank you for taking care of my parents and keeping them together until my dad recently passed. The young babies assisting my parents have been kind patient and professional. It’s a comfort knowing my mom is in great hands while I am far away. Thank you for supporting my parents as my father passed away and departed holding my mother’s hand while they both were asleep. I called several facilities and autumn wind was the only facility that allowed my parents to stay together and also only 5 minutes from my brothers home. Autumn winds has been a God send as my parents prepare to journey on into the afterlife. Dep mahalo and thank you
