Refund charges

Some of the charges on the financial statement appear to be duplicated. For example, the same trash bin under the sink appears on both page 6 and the last page of the document. I’m concerned that I may have been charged twice for the same issue in the same location.

I returned my room on August 15. and have left room clean and all things in order. There is not any damage or garbage left. Room has been restored to a very clean status. I dont think any trash/damage/cleaning fee should apply to my lease.

I did not leave any trash, did not damage anything, and have cleaned up everything before I return the key. This is not at all reasonable for your property to charge me the trash/cleaning/damage charges.

Dear Management Team, I am formally disputing the move-out charges for Avant, as none of the personal items left on the common area table, bathroom counter, or bathtub belonged to me (they belong to my roommate), and the overall condition of the bathroom was pre-existing when I first moved in. I had already completely removed all my personal belongings prior to moving out, so I kindly ask you to re-examine these charges and remove them from my final statement.

I am disputing the $265.00 Turn Damage Fee dated 2026-09-03 on Lease 15432976, Unit 533-B (move-out 2026-08-25). I am not disputing the cleaning charges, which I accept.My concerns are as follows:1. The charge is described as damage but the notes describe cleaning. The line item reads "Turn Damage Fee Work Order Fees - Clean - Moderate Clean - Clean - Moderate Clean." Nothing in that description identifies a damaged item, surface, fixture, or repair. It describes a moderate clean, which is cleaning work, not damage.2. The photos supporting the damage fee are the same photos used to support the cleaning fees. The images attached to the $265.00 Turn Damage Fee (bedroom with items left behind, mattress, and the utility/water heater closet floor) are the same images attached to the $100.00 and $30.00 Turn Cleaning Fees. I am being charged twice for the same condition of the unit: once as cleaning and again as damage.3. No damage is actually visible in the photos. The images show items left behind and areas needing cleaning. They do not show broken, cracked, torn, burned, or otherwise damaged property. Any marks visible are on a mattress and floor areas that require cleaning, which is already covered by the separate cleaning charges I have accepted.4. There was no damage to the unit beyond what was present at move-in. I did not damage the unit during my tenancy. No move-in inspection report or comparison has been provided showing that the condition of any item changed during my occupancy, and nothing has been identified as being beyond normal wear and tear.5. No repair documentation has been provided. There is no invoice, work order describing an actual repair, replacement cost, or vendor quote supporting a $265.00 damage assessment.I am requesting that the $265.00 Turn Damage Fee be removed and refunded. If the fee is maintained, please provide: (a) a specific description of what item was damaged, (b) photos of that specific damage, (c) the move-in inspection documentation showing the item was undamaged at the start of my tenancy, and (d) the invoice or work order detailing the repair performed and its cost.Thank you for reviewing this. I’m not sure

I understand the trash charge for my room, but I do not believe the cleaning charge is fair.I transferred to a different unit about three months ago, and I cleaned my room before leaving. Any dust that may have accumulated on the floor afterward could have built up naturally while the room was empty, so I do not believe I should be held responsible for that.Also, I have changed rooms twice during my stay, and both rooms were not clean when I moved in. I had to clean them myself after moving in.For these reasons, I kindly ask that you review and remove the cleaning fee, as I do not believe the charge is justified.

Nothing shown in photos was mine. All of it was there when I moved in so I was under the impression that it was my roommates or came with the unit. I was unaware that I had to move or throw out any of it.

I don't believe i should be charged for something when i was for one not given the correct info and two i didn't live there for the remaining months that i'm being charged for.it's not fair i left on jan 10th, 2025 so it's fair to be charged for such things, i've explained to the building managers, that i left after be disowned by my family with no come, i'm in an extreme amount of debt, i work two jobs just to me ends me, i'm only 20 years old this not what i wanted to deal with i'm pleading with one to let the charges go as i have nothing to my name, if you would like to take the sprit out of mean then great i have nothing. if you need any other info call or email.
