I want to acknowledge that while I have only been living at Avec a short time, I very much enjoy living here. I love my unit, the front desk and facilities staff are outstanding, and the building and its common spaces are very well kept. I also appreciate the events that are organized for residents. However, in my weeks here, I have been incredibly concerned by the fact that management continually allows law enforcement (federal agents along with MPD) into the building to use the restroom facilities in the lobby, most recently on the evening of Friday, October 10 - though I have documented several such occurrences since August. Why is Avec, a private residential property, allowing this when this is not a public building? Given how law enforcement (and federal agents in particular) have lately been infringing on DC residents' rights, and in fact harassing and terrorizing our communities, why is Avec complying with law enforcement in this way? What message does this send to us as residents, when this cooperation is being done without our knowledge and consent? As far as I understand, Avec has no obligation to provide this type of cooperation, so why is it?Again, I do really enjoy living at Avec but as a resident, this does not make me feel particularly safe, or that management has its residents' best interests at heart, which is unfortunate.

Leasing agent could not tell me if the unit I was interested had a balcony or not nor when I would be able to tour it.

We love the two maintenance guys that always come to fix what we need. They're always friendly, willing to help with anything, ensure we are satisfied and always show/explain exactly what they did. They're the best!

TheLeasing manger was very polite and doing a great job i thank her

The maintenance staff at the Avec is great and this is no disrespect to them, but no one ever came to check on the request. It was just marked as completed. There was no communication either
