Gordon made it so easy to book asked me what would be best time for vehicle return ,as I had an appointment at 1330 he noted that down and I got it in plenty of time . Everything was explained to me I was pleased.

I first received excellent service from Audi Assist who identified the faulty part and notified Ayr Audi (early Monday afternoon). I then called Ayr Audi to book my car in, but was told that I would need to book it in the very next day (Tuesday) else there wasn’t a guarantee to would get a curtesy car (this was not convenient for me but I complied). I handed the car in at 0815, about lunchtime on Tuesday Ayr Audi identified the same fault as had been identified the day before by Audi Assist, however Ayr Audi didn’t have the required part and had to order it. That part was not delivered to Ayr Audi until Thursday. I would suggest there is a process failing, as Ayr Audi were notified early afternoon on Monday what the faulty part was, but only on Tuesday afternoon after identifying the same issue themselves realised that they didn’t have that part available in the garage. If your process had checked local availability of that part on being notified early Monday afternoon of the identified part fault, then Ayr Audi could have immediately ordered that part and the job would have been completed a day earlier - and so saved you one day car hire and I would have got my car back earlier. Just an observation. All other aspects of the service where very good indeed. Stuart Mundell.

Service planning and processing were good;No concerns re timely updates through the service day. The driver who picked up and dropped vehicle were professional and almost on time .However … They offered to clean the exterior and vaccum interior - which is not to my expectation. The exterior was definitely better than what they had done with interior cleaning.I suspect if they had cleaned at all.Smeared dash and visible dust - some from my children remained untouched !Would be happier if this can be rectified or atleast make sure the owner is informed about u not cleaning the interior.It keeps the expectations low

Cup of coffee offered by receptionist, and accepted was nice. Best part was the stores department guy, sorry no name - that's it, "the man with no name". I would rate his service way over the star rating - he was very, very good. Got the part exactly how he hoped it would happen, excellent. Humour and ingenuity combined – just what is says on the label, kind of thing - love to thank him personally, but I would have to ask permission of the receptionist. Thank you to everyone else I saw on the day. Sorry I'm late, but I was admitted to hospital, but I'm out now! Phew!

Service reception staff advised that my car would be washed and vacuum-cleaned after the work was completed. Upon collection this had not been done. However, once pointed out to reception staff this was then carried out, but meant I spent more time in the dealership than expected at collection time.
