i paid for gardx complained to dealership last year had not been done car brought back in to do gatdx still has not been done

Car was booked in to be inspected on the 3rd of December to get diagnosed for repairs required and still not been checked due to backlog of cars but when I phone and ask for updates or when it will be looked at only get told they'll do it when they can and no new date given. With it being 9 days over from the original booking and nothings been done it's becoming unacceptable as I've got to constantly phone to ask if it's been checked yet.

Hi there:I purchased a year old Audi A3 (KY24 PVJ) from Ayr Audi on 03 September this year which was, as requested, delivered to me whilst I was in Fife. The car was delivered with a crack in the windscreen for which I was told Audi Ayr would cover the cost once I'd arranged for a mobile van to come out and fix. The 'crack' happened apparently during delivery.National Windscreens advised that it would need a replacement windscreen and this was not something they could do via a mobile unit, and I would need to take it to them in Dundee. Due to time constraints as I was visiting the mainland from an offshore Scottish island, and the fact National Windscreens had no appointments available that week, I had to return home with the crack still in place.Having been told by my insurance company that any claim on the insurance would likely see an increase in my next premium I wrote to Jason at Ayr Audi on 17 September and asked if (I could have it in writing) Audi Ayr would cover this. I received no response so sent a further email on 26 September - also reminding him that his wallet, which had been left in my car and which I sent to him by 'RM Special Delivery' as requested, at the cost of some £9.85 to myself, remained unanswered/unpaid.Due to the subsea cable having succumbed to Storm Amy at the beginning of October I was left with no internet/phone for just over seven weeks. Having then scoured my emails I found no trace of any reply from Jason so I sent yet a further email on 08 December and, to date, have yet to receive a vestige of a reply.Ayr Audi were very keen to take my money originally, but to then deliver a year old car with a defective windscreen was not what I had envisaged. To have received absolutely no response to, now, three emails regarding this issue I find totally unacceptable.I look forward to your comments.

Jason Dunlop has been very attentive, patient, knowledgeable and helpful. I test drove a Q3 and I am very interested in buying a new one.

My vehicle Audi A4 registration NC68 TZU was at Audi Ayr workshop on 23rd October 2025 for repairs. Upon collection and driving the vehicle home there was a knocking noise which subsequently stopped, however had returned recently and was louder and persistent. I took the vehicle to a local garage for an inspection today and they were astounded to find a bungee chord (approx 8" length) attached to one of the coils on my front nearside suspension spring and entangled /dangling around the brake pipe. Can you please advise if this was an item used during my recent workshop visit to Audi Ayr and will allow the item to be returned to the rightful owner?

Hi ,Prior to sending my view point on to the ombudsmanoriginal car purchase - KY70AYO , 4 faults and put into a new car , one far newer 08/07-10/09/2024then supplied a new car md13mcl 10/09/2024original fault of faulty TPMS highlighted to yourself03/02/2025 - collision warning fault ( a high safety issue )22/02/2025 - this was then sorted and the ambient lighting was broken and not worked since (a feature of the car that when it was purchased is quite a USP especially when its dark in Scotland quite a large period of time post and prior working day05/03/2025 - notified further of all these issues29/05/2025 - tpms returned - ambient lighting issue still not working after had been , no drivers side window not working - in may of all months not to be able to use my drivers side window17/07 - in for service returned with all these issues10/08 - parking break fault20/08/2025 emergency sos fault - again a huge safety concernsince then i have made a complaint and feel it has not been taken serious . Its to the best of m knowledge from what i can see online if i give you the opportunity to fix the car and the same fault re-appears like has been highlighted then you are required to take the car back .Please let me have your stance point in all of this , in addition to this i have had to deal with a domestic abuse issue in my private life which was on going at the time of purchase, after enduring all of that i now have a car i have not faith in, can not use the features, have been paying large amounts of money per month and not being able to use the car is extremely unfair on myself, no one has even offered to take it in and fix the car or went out their way to do this.

Hi dealt with Micheal Yandell on the last two occasions Micheal was superb both times from start to finish would recommend ayr audi and Micheal to anyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ryan was great to deal with, managed to arrange a test drive at short notice. I didn’t buy the car in the end but would recommend.

I would just like to pass on my thanks to Isobel on the reception desk at Ayr Audi who was able to quickly solve an issue with my Q3 MMI system being frozen on start up.Her helpfulness speed and efficiency were much appreciated .Kind regards,John
