Originally when we arrived we thought the dealership was closed at 5:30 PM. But they were in the building next door due to the showroom being renovated. An employee saw us in the parking lot and told us that they were next door. It wasn’t as warm as it could have been in there and the showroom seemed empty. It worked and got the job done but didn’t have the same feel as most dealerships. Looked more like a buy here pay here auto sales store instead of a dealership. But the folks there made up in personality for what the facilities lacked.Wish we would have had a better explanation of the remote start and the safety features. We are a bit disappointed that the remote start feature requires an app that has to be paid for after the first year and that the safety features lack the level of warnings that we have become accustomed to from in our previous automobiles. Having it explained throughly at the time of purchase would have avoided the disappointment after the sale.Mike is a huge asset to Banister Mitsubishi and we certainly hope that the owners realize what he brings to the table. Mike’s customer service skills and knowledge of the industry is remarkable. It is easy to see that Mike is a dedicated to helping his customers and enjoys what he does. It wouldn’t have mattered if it was any other brand of automobile, we feel confident that Mike could/would have sold us on whatever he had on the lot. His friendly attitude and intense desire to make his customers happy by offering what the customer wants all why calculating what he can do for his employer is very impressive.We would follow Mike to any dealership that he may choose to work at because we feel confident in his ability to find us the right vehicle and offer us the best price. Mike made that much of a difference for us and while he made us feel as if we were his only customer, we know that we were only one of many customers that he has helped throughout his career. Thank you for having such an amazing employee. As long as you Mike is there with you, we will keep coming back.Mike was the best! After searching for several months and many conversations with other dealers we ended up at the lot on Black Friday, just to browse. My wife was not feeling well due to a cold and we both were frustrated about car shopping. Mike immediately jumped in and changed the situation from browsing to buying. The transaction was smooth, fast and straightforward. We were out the door in less than two hours. Mike is such an asset to Banister Mitsubishi Hampton and was willing to do whatever he could to make the deal happen.The whole banister discounts are not fully disclosed. That made things a bit frustrating and when we called to ask for an explanation no one seemed to know what that meant. If we could improve anything it would be adding clear language about exactly what that discount is and how to quantify for it.
