Staff member started to help me with setting up my Audi but didn't follow it through to completion. I would have given a 5 star rating if a free of charge courtesy car had been available. In my opinion this just takes Lookers down from being excellent.

I have received feedback requests regularly which I have completed but on two occasions the registration number of car presented was not mine and I was unable to progress any further. I reported this on both occasions but cannot understand how this occurs. I booked my car in for an MOT and requested an appointment where I could, which was set for 9:50. I arrived just before 9:50 and checked in, at which point I was told I should expect 2.5 hours to complete the work. Unfortunately, I was not informed of this when I booked the car in. I received a text notification at 11:01 that the complimentary vehicle check was complete and my AudiCam report was available - so over an hour from booking the car in, it came with an advisory “Tyre rating recommendation Y99’, on checking I have realised that 3 tyres 95Y but at the time of my last service all tyres were 95Y and this was not picked up then - a minor point but worthy of note - I have replaced one tyre since then because of a puncture. I was notified the MOT was complete at around 12:15, your service advisor apologising for the delay. My gripe is really the delay. If I’ve booked my vehicle in for a specific time I find it difficult to accept that there was over an hour lost whilst I waited for the complimentary inspection to be completed before the MOT was carried out which resulted in an unnecessary delay in completing the service. So that begs the question, why? Whilst I appreciate there may be delays I think those customers waiting should be giving priority as they have a clear time booked and are onsite. I should add that Lucy was very helpful, so this is not a bad reflection of her service or attitude, more a general comment on logistical organisation.

Basingstoke Audi were extremely efficient with getting the handover as quick as possible for me as they knew I had to get the car as soon as possible. Matt was great with the whole process and getting everything arranged for me and I could not thank him enough for his help. He is a credit to the sales
