Everyone was friendly. They went over a plan of care with me, addressed concerns and gave me an appropriate referral as well.

Hygienist was welcoming and friendly calmed my anxious feeling of changing dentist. This was my first female dentist experience and she was delightful. Looking forward to next cleaning, the room was warmly decorated as well as the office itself.

I recently came in for a scheduled dental cleaning, and while the hygienist I met with was very friendly and professional, the overall experience was frustrating.After I was already seated and had X-rays taken, I was told that I could not be seen because I had ACDF surgery on January 7th, about four months ago, and that I would need a medical clearance form completed before continuing with care.My main concern is that this should have been addressed when I booked the appointment over the phone. If medical clearance was required due to a recent surgery, that information should have been gathered and communicated before I arrived. I rearranged my morning and moved meetings around to make this appointment, only to be told after I was already in the chair that I could not be seen.I also felt the communication could have been handled better. Rather than having the hygienist deliver the message, it would have made a better impression if the dentist had come in briefly to explain the situation directly. I would have understood the need for caution, but the way it was handled made the visit feel impersonal and poorly coordinated.When I went back to the front desk, I was simply handed a form and told to have it filled out before rescheduling. There was no real acknowledgment of the inconvenience or the fact that this could have been avoided with better screening during the scheduling process.I am not upset that medical clearance was required. I understand that dental offices need to be careful. My frustration is with the lack of communication ahead of time and the way the situation was handled once I was already there. This could have been a much better experience if the requirement had been explained before the appointment.

I had an excellent experience at Baystate Dental of Sturbridge. From the moment I walked in, Hannah at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming, which immediately put me at ease.Crystal was wonderful, very gentle, patient, and reassuring throughout my visit. She took the time to explain everything and made sure I was comfortable during x-rays.Dr. Lin truly stood out. He listened carefully to all of my concerns and worked with me to create a thoughtful, personalized treatment plan. I never felt rushed and really appreciated how much he cared.This is by far my favorite dental office I’ve been to, and I’ve had quite a few over the years. I highly recommend them.
