The service and accommodations were fine. The rent just kept going up so frequently, it was no longer feasible to keep my things there. I did appreciate the access and security of the building, and the climate control was a definite plus.

It’s a nice facility and was clean, staff was efficient and I felt it was safe. The only reason I gave a 9 is price. I thought the price increase was too quick and I knew another one wasn’t far behind.

#1 - The units are well kept and the staff has been great to work with, but my caution with using CubeSmart is "be careful" with entry level reduced rental promotions---you get use to a lower monthly fee then "boom"--the REAL rental rate creeps up really fast!!#2 -They promote you using the Online service for payments, but the fee attached is TOO HIGH!! Also---the instructions say you will pay a fee for credit card transactions. In my case - I didn't use a credit card---I entered my bank routing/account #----and I still was accessed the fee. I felt that was "FALSE advertising---as I assumed that using my actual bank account would avoid that high fee.To be clear - it's all in the agreement you sign--just caution you!

Very soon following my rental the rate went up $50.00. This is a classic bait-and-switch. Later I was told that I could have negotiated the rate. I asked "well why not now?" and was told no. I even offered to split the difference and this was denied. The manager, although very helpful and caught in between, prefaced one of her statements with "Since you have chosen not to business with us"---wrong! Your company chose not to do business with me. Again classic Bait-and-Switch. Dealt with it for as long as I could stand it.
