Outstanding service as usual! A detailer got his rag stuck in my engine area while cleaning it. I immediately called Jeff, my service rep, and asked if I could have it towed to him and he was there to receive it when the tow truck dropped it off providing the excellent customer service I have come to expect! Within a few days, I was able to pick up my car with all damaged parts by the rag replaced and my car back to running performance. Incidents such as the above along with excellent standard maintenance, are why I only allow BMW to work on my car! He had the rag removed and replaced parts required after for the car to run.

I was traveling from Alexandria, VA to Sea Island, GA. for a two week trip. I was just north of Richmond when I started noticing smoke coming from the rear of my car. Shortly thereafter the indicator notified me that there was an engine issue and the reduced power mode was initiated. I called my car repair service back home and they advised me to have the car immediately checked out. I was nearby Midlothian BMW and called their car service department and spoke to Lance. I explained what I was experiencing to Lance and he advised me that the car was not safe to drive without risking further damage and that I should have the car towed to Midlothian BMW. He came across as very knowledgeable and I felt like he was looking out for my best interests so I followed his advice. I mentioned to him my plans for the trip and he said that they had a relationship with an Enterprise rental car agency and I could arrange picking up a rental car at the Midlothian BMW. I mentioned to Lance that I was in the market for a new car and did not want to incur a lot of expense to fix my current car - just wanted to fix it to the point that it was safe to drive home and trade it in when I shortly purchased a new car. He understood what I was looking for, I left the car at the BWM lot, rented a car from Enterprise and continued my journey to Georgia. I received texts from Lance notifying me of the status of the car assessment. I promptly received an estimate of the repairs and discussed each of the recommendations with Lance. He was pragmatic in balancing my desire to limit the repair expense with what was best from safely operating the car. We agreed on the repairs and as promised the car was ready for me to pickup during my return trip from Georgia to Virginia two weeks after I dropped it off. The car has been operating well since I picked it up and I have purchased a new used BMW. In summary, my experience at Midlothian BMW was exceptional. Lance was knowledgeable, responsive, understanding of my position and very accommodating in our discussions. My return trip from Georgia took longer than expected due to the weather and he went beyond the call of duty in meeting me to pickup my car as the lot was closing for the evening. He made getting stranded and incurring car repair costs much more of a tolerable experience that I would have expected.

Richmond BMW of Midlothian professional and detail oriented staff delivered once again. The communication and professional attitude make dropping off a vehicle for service easy and stress free. I will continue to take my vehicles to Richmond BMW Midlothian.
