I went in for an Inspection. The time spent went was under an hour.

Had a flat tire. Your service department got me in swiftly and out with a new tire in last than an hour.

This was the third visit for the same issue - Engine on (threw a code 034A2d) short story - cylinder six running lean. First trip, brought it in on a Friday, and took it home on a Friday. Friday evening it threw the code again. Brought it back the following Monday - they kept it until Thursday. Thursday evening the engine light appeared again. I had to wait two weeks before I could bring it in so that I could get a loaner. They had the car for two weeks. So mind you, in total the car was in for the same issue three times and almost spend 21 days in the shop. Kevin was a thorough tech. I think after the first of the last two weeks it was at the shop he filed a TSARA. This is a 2026 BMW X7 M60i - with all the bells and whistles. Gorgeous car. I'm having a hard time understanding how that engine got put in my car. Kevin replaced the external crankcase ventilation lines and intake pipes, replaced cylinder 1 and 6 fuel injectors. Ran compression tests on all 8 cylinders. Swapped the ignition coils between cylinders 1 to 4 and cylinder 6 to 8. Drove it 40 miles. So far so good. I am concerned that there could be more troubles beneath the hood but am hopeful that they won't appear for awhile. The reason I only give 5 stars is because of the lack of communication between myself and the service representatives. It always felt like I was pulling teeth to get an update on my car. My service rep was apparently in training for several days but failed to put an "away" message. I was able to finally get in touch with someone else to get me an update. I did receive one video from Kevin during the initial phase of the repair ((replaced the vent tubes) but I was not in contact for over a week until the car was complete. I only knew that because I used the car's location services to see that it was sitting outside of the service area for some time. I then called. I don't expect to be baby-sat every day, but maybe every three days with an update would be an improvement. Hearing from my tech was good. I'm more than likely going to switch from BMW Richmond to BMW Midlothian. It is closer and newer. Thank you for asking. I'm not going to share this publicly.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the BMW service center for routine maintenance on my vehicle, and I must say, the experience exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a genuine willingness to assist. Thomas G, the service advisor took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly explained the maintenance process. I appreciated the transparency regarding the services needed and the associated costs. It’s refreshing to see a team that prioritizes customer communication and trust. The technicians clearly demonstrated their expertise, and I felt confident leaving my vehicle in their capable hands. They completed the service ahead of schedule, and my car was returned to me in pristine condition. I also received a detailed report on the work done, which was a nice touch. Overall, my experience at the BMW service center was nothing short of outstanding. The combination of professional staff, efficient service, and a welcoming atmosphere made it a five-star experience. I highly recommend the BMW of Richmond service center to any BMW owner looking for quality care for their vehicle. Thank you, BMW team, for your exceptional service!

Came in to wait for a one-hour recall appointment (that lasted 2.5 hours) and left with the technician saying I needed $11,000 worth of work. Upon further inspection, a $7500 service was just spilled oil and not brake fluid they had warned me about. Service department was very busy but it would’ve been nice to at least be acknowledged when I walked in so I knew someone was going to help me even though it appeared by phone by both observation and overheard conversations that no one wanted to. Employees were nice enough once they engaged.

It was great, except for the 5 hour wait when I had an appointment. Too long to wait in the lobby.
