I cannot say enough good things about the management/maintenance staff there! I have lived at The Boardwalk for seven years and overall had wonderful interactions and great help by them. Ana and Cyndi and Dave the maintenance guy were beyond awesome. I watched Cyndi's young un's grow from children to fine young men graduating from high school. She above all , as manager in charge has seen a smooth and efficient running of the place. Let's not forget all the efforts to build a community out of two block long buildings, finally achieving a melding of the two which both offer numerous activities for residents from either building, so there is SOMETHING going on through out the day at one building or the other in their spacious community rooms whether it be Wii bowling, or a monthly pot luck in each building, a day set aside to celebrate the month's birthdays of residents, dances, karaoke or board games, art groups, writing groups, cards, yoga, fitness groups, visits from student nurses. You name it and something is always going on. There is no such thing as lonely that a visit to the community room will not solve. Ohh did I mention the onsite 'mini' library we have courtesy of Timberland Library, including the New York Times :) with a sweet little reading area next to the books? I am going to miss everyone and everything about living there. Heck there's a public bus stops right out the front door, and the bus terminal is one to two block walk from the Boardwalk, and there is no bus fare to ride. What's not to like? I loved Boardwalk and Olympia. They also provide a social worker on site to help with your problems. This is fixed income housing that has so many wonderful wonderful projects and programs for its' seniors to take advantage of. One thing, I did have a west facing, fourth floor apartment that gets awfully hot in the summer! But even then, I could go down to the community room, which was air conditioned, to cool off or sit in the cool, shady inner court to visit with friends. To the wonderful management, that is YOU ESPECIALLY, Cyndi, Ana and Dave, and to all the volunteer residents who make all those awesome programs, potlucks monthly birthday parties, movie nights, karaoke, etc. work and so much fun thank you from the bottom of my heart, and the One bless you and keep you, for it takes so much to help it work, and you all do a splendid job there. My love to you all. Martha

Went smoothly. Fairfield is doing a much better job, on all fronts, than than the previous owners. These are challenging times, the management team is doing an excellent job given the circumstances.
