Better investigate the executive in that community and the complaints from many present and previous employees that has been filed against that person and actually do something about it in order to stop the loss of great employees leaving

Clarification on Vendor use for repairs. Often times we're told not to use vendors when the repairs that need to be done REQUIRE a vendor / expert. This is not a special case to this building but rather every assisted living I have worked in. If you ask me, getting things fixed timely and promptly reduce overall spending. The longer something takes to be fixed or repaired often times means the more damage it causes so the fix / repairs are more costly and it may also even hinder residents until it gets fixed. There are some things that REQUIRE a Technical Expert & Licensing to properly fix.

The third night of me working there I was brand new still training and they had a med tech call out and no one to replace so I had to give meds in the entire building. No one from Management came in to assist me, but they did offer me a free meal from DoorDash, which I thought was very demeaning.

This first week has been great. Having to catch up on a lot of work & get things corrected / within standard & regulations. There is no tools in the building so I’m working on getting some so I can actually do the job.

The only thing I would change is the scheduling. It needs to be mobile for convenience. Constantly having to ask when I work is a lot when you have multiple jobs and going to school.

Happy to see that there will be a program starting this year that acknowledges staff and their longevity working in the community. Reminding staff that their presence and hard work doesn't go unnoticed is important for staff morale.
