I usually only deal with Mike Griffith who has always proven to be excellent and know my SLK as well as I do. This last visit to the dealer was last minute on a Saturday and Mike was not in so I worked with Ed. Ed proved to be very knowledgeable and gave me great confidence in his abilities to diagnose the problems with my 14 year old car. The service is what keeps me coming back to the dealer as I have for over a dozen years. This great service also is why I am purchasing yet another new car from Bud Smail Mercedes Benz. It has been years since my SLK 350 has been serviced. It is used as a good weather and travel vehicle so it is in the garage most of the time. I started to have transmission problems and also ESP codes (so that I couldnt use the cruise control. Several of my friends take their cars to Bud Smail so I decided try them. I have just moved into the area from California. Ed in service had a loaner vehicle ready for me and the check in process was a breeze. The vehicle was fixed in a few days, however I had problems again with the ESP. Ed immediately told me that he would fix the problem, he sent a loaner car to my house, picked up my car and returned the car to my house (without any additional charges).
