Apparently, my rental was managed by another person in the office, Crystal, who between the rental posting and my request to see it, left Cal-Prop. Instead, Tanish was assigned to the building and she has been outstanding! She met me on the fly one day to view the unit and since then, she is super responsive to my emails and concerns I bring to her attention. Unfortunately, it's fairly clear the building and property wasn't well-maintained in the past, and other tenants have told me they don't receive call backs regarding issues because they still have Crystal's number. There is certainly much left to be desired at the property such as, a) an outdated mouse/rat trap in the front yard, b) there no smoke detectors on the first floor, c) the hall and stairway carpet haven't been vacuumed in a while, d) there is no outdoor lighting along the side of the property as you move from the parking area to the front door (as a single woman, this is important as I don't feel safe without it and won't park in the back), d) there are two recycle bins in the parking lot full of trash and thus are unusable, and e) the dumpster has a combination lock on them, but no one uses it (I suspect no one knows the code), and as such, I frequently see people foraging through the dumpsters and leaving trash all around them.

Hats off to Cal Prop Management Team. Easy and convenient tenant's web portal. Repair request is always have rapid actions. Maintenance team are very friendly and experienced peoples. Thank you!

They are great they come when they say they’re gonna be on time to fix something in your apartment. They are friendly helpful and it’s been a great experience renting with them. I’ve lived in the same place for 12 years and since they’ve been here they’ve been doing great work I can’t say thank you enough for everything that you do.
