The nurse (blonde, pixie cut) sounded robotic with instructions, lacking human connection. As she provided instructions she stated,”…if the doctor placed sutures, they will dissolve on their own” so I asked,”How do we know if sutures were placed?” She responded, You don’t. There’s no need to know.” This was not only dismissive but implies patients shouldn’t be interested in their own care, and certainly a missed opportunity to educate a patient about what to expect during healing. She emphasized to review the paper in the little bag with instructions which would answer any more questions I may have had. A simple “Allow me check your chart” would’ve sufficed and patient clarity and understanding is key!. I also asked, “What is the estimated recovery time to awaken? She responded “We are allll different so it will vary.” A general timeframe would’ve sufficed versus a vague response. I asked, “Could it be an hour?” and she responded, “oh that’s too long.” I asked, “Possibly 30 minutes?” and she responded,”Maybe a bit less.” It felt like I was having to extract information. I wasn’t expecting an exact timeframe, I was expecting a reasonable expectation.The nurse who placed the IV was kind although my daughter was poked three times and twice fishing for the vein -and my daughter has great veins. My daughter has 2-of-3 big bruises on her arm, and this nurse did apologize. The front desk staff were very helpful, provided coffee shop recommendation, and provided great customer service from beginning to end. They apologized for the nurse experience I mentioned to them as well when we left. (Tall curly hair with highlight hair was in a bun)

Everyone was very helpful. Easy to change an appt and I was seen on time. During surgery I was told what was happening which I liked. Although I hope not to see you again 🙂 if another issue happens I would be back.

Dr. Delgado was very thorough, he answered all my questions and performed a great surgery.

The whole team here, the reception area and especially our doctor that helped us were absolutely amazing and they made a very long stressful day so much easier. Knowledgeable, patient and kind. Very happy we came to this office.
