I was very nervous/anxious for my procedure and my nurses/IV staff were absolutely phenomenal. They helped me calm down before my sedation and talked me through everything. They answered any and every questions I had very nicely and they were just amazing.

A young woman seemed exasperated when I came in to pay a bill and do paperwork that wouldn't download. She told me she was with the ENT side and not Oral Surg. She was short, snapish and seemed to think I should know how admin works in these practices. This was a Monday late afternoon a week ago. I had several questions but her rude demeanor caused me to just walk away. I don't need sharp comments from some 20 something young person. I'm currently ill and that is burden enough for me. On Tues I returned and spoke to Dr. Miller's asst who couldn't have been nicer or more considerate. The difference in service on the two days was just remarkable. Guess I should have gotten names, but I'm not interested in being angry at somebody, but did want to express my annoyance at the lack of empathy and the uncaring attitude, particularly when the next day the different asst was just so very pleasant. That's business life of course but this is medical not a store or an insurance office or some place where one expects snark, DMV maybe...she'd fit right in there.

Wish I had been warned I would get blood on my pillow case the first couple nights. Some of us aren’t thinking that far ahead.
