As per previous experiences, exceptional care & kindness was given in your lovely Leominster facility. My only concern was available accommodations for disabled individuals. Are special needs assessed at time of appt scheduling? Specifically, my friend has mobility issues, as well as vision & hearing impairment. I was surprised to see that the signature pad was tied in the corner of the desk, which was difficult for her to get into with her walker, & nowhere near your lower desk for wheelchair accessibility, if it were needed. She also couldn't read the laminated copies of the forms she was supposed to be signing for, or the relevant info on her ID stickers. You probably do have options for your staff to pivot toward, but it wasn't readily apparent, and not all seniors or disabled individuals are accompanied by another individual to help them navigate, particularly during initial consultation. My friend was overwhelmed by check-in, & your staff is trying to keep their voices low for privacy. Is there perhaps a more private, quiet area that reception & check-out staff could sit at a low desk with patient to do needed tasks? My friend would have floundered if she were dropped off alone by medical transport or Uber. Also, other MD offices & hospital patient registration are examples of much more private spaces.

The medical support staff were fantastic. I was not happy with the oral surgeon initially as he seemed to try and brush me off and just send me home with an antibiotic. He said there were no signs of infection and had not even looked in my mouth. It was only when I insisted that there was infection, he actually took a look and saw it right away. I ended up having my last baby tooth extracted which was literally hanging in by one root ( there were three roots, two of which were already exposed) and took 3 seconds to extract which cost me $950. I found the price to be ludicrous for the procedure I had done. I paid it as I was referred to CMOS by my regular dentist due to concern of the tooth being close to my sinus. Turns out it was not even mentioned or any kind of issue so I felt roadblocked into having to go to CMOS to have it extracted.I’m glad it’s out but had I not advocated for myself, I’d still be sitting here with an infection.
