I think a pay increase would help tremendously. We work extremely hard for our money there to provide the residents and their families with top of the line care at all times.

It is imperative to strengthen the lines of communication from management to staff. There are only staff meetings held in the mornings for 1st shift and not communicated to the second and third shifts. There are only meetings are held Monday through Friday. The weekend staff do not receive the staff minutes or the agendas of the meetings.I appreciate this survey and hopefully my feedback will assist with making some positive changes.

First of all, we need a raise second of all acknowledge that third shift are important employees because you have someone name Aaliyah as the face of cpal whom is always late on first shift.. I paid my way through school. I earned my CNA on my own. I paid for my state testing and I am one of the RA’s. That is legally a CNA and I’m getting paid less than the other RAs which I don’t believe is fair. I don’t believe it’s fair to pay me less than the other RAS when I do most of the work Andrea does not like to take out the trash or empty the mop bucket Barbara likes to sit outside and smoke all the time and pretend that she’s working really hard in the morning when first shift comes in, so yeah I do feel like I deserve to get paid more. I’m a state certified nurse assistant …I paid and made myself do that. Nobody helped me so I do believe I deserve to be getting paid least $17.50 an hour because I am more qualified to do this job better than most RAS on your payroll. i’ve also worked from 14 to 16 hours helping on second and third and I don’t mind doing that as long as I am paid what I deserve …. I got myself to school to better myself for the facility and the residence…. In the end, I don’t believe I am being valued fairly as Great employee of CPAL.. not to mention in the past year and I and a half that I worked here. I’ve only called out 1time and it was just for a little mistake. I made outside of work. and I was honest about….it. I’ve also picked up on nights where other people have called out or been sick. I’ve even showed up to work sick, but nobody acknowledges that but it’s OK if I’m not my good work ethics are not be acknowledge at least let my paycheck be worth more because my work speaks for itself. My worth is showed through my work as an employee as a CNA/RA at CPAL!!!! Thank you!!!
